To be the premier training squadron in the United States Navy, laying the foundation on which freedom of the seas and US Naval Supremacy will be maintained. We will live our services' core values in all we do, in the air, on the ground, in our communities and in our homes.

Our Ethos

Our ethos is based on simple principles that define our mission and shape our actions:

SAFETY: Safety is paramount! No mission is so critical that we accept unnecessary risk. Procedural compliance and the utilization of sound judgement will lead to the safe execution of our mission. Remain vigilant and always guard against complacency.

TRAIN: We will be masters of our craft. We will maintain the highest standards of professionalism and teach precision in execution. We will be disciplined and fair when teaching those charged to our care.

MENTOR: We will build good officers as well as aviators. Our character and actions will demonstrate courage, professional competence, good judgment, and respect for one another. We will hold ourselves and our students accountable to the highest standards of moral conduct.

LEAD: We will always put service before self: service to others, service to our communities, service to our nation. By our actions we will show that we have earned the confidence and trust bestowed upon us by the American people.
