• Mission - Producing the right number of student naval aviators, and ensuring they are ready to meet the exacting standards of follow-on training pipelines, must always be forefront in our minds. We will carefully balance these goals, but they are NOT mutually exclusive. We will think critically and foster a culture of innovation to maximize training value to our students with all available resources.
• Balance - PEOPLE are our most important asset, to include our families and loved ones. We will maintain a healthy balance between our professional and personal responsibilities to remain strong physically, mentally and spiritually. BOOMERS take care of each other, our families and ourselves.
• Ownership - VT-27 will succeed as a TEAM. We will aim to do our best in the role we are assigned on this TEAM. Each of us, regardless of rank, experience or level of authority, is accountable for our success, and empowered to speak up and DO THE RIGHT THING. Never walk by a problem or assume it’s "someone else’s responsibility.""
