Ombudsman

A message from your VT-10 Ombudsman

Welcome to the VT-10 Wildcat Family! I am your Navy Family Ombudsman for VT-10. I have been a military spouse for more than 11 years, and also served as an active duty servicemember for 5 years. These roles have given me the unique perspective and understanding of the challenges that Navy families face. If you are not familiar with the Ombudsman program, the Ombudsman is designated by your Commanding Officer to serve as a communication link between the command leadership and the command family, in addition to being a trained Information and Referral Specialist. Ombudsmen are advocates, ready to support, direct, and empower you and/or your family with all available resources.

While serving in the role of Ombudsman, I am committed to supporting our command's mission. As Ombudsman, I am expected to follow the guidelines of confidentiality as required by the Privacy Act and the Navy Family Ombudsman Program Manual. If you have additional family members with whom you would like to share Command information, please include them and l will be happy to add them to my distribution list.

It is my privilege to serve as your Ombudsman. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. If I am unable to answer my phone, I will return your call within 24 hours. I can be reached via phone, text or email. I am available 24 hours a day, for emergencies. My contact information is included below. I look forward to meeting you at future command functions, and providing assistance should the need arise.
