Ombudsman

The command ombudsman is appointed by and works under the guidance of the commanding officer who determines the priorities of the program, the roles and relationships of those involved in it, and the type and level of support it will receive.

As your Ombudsman, I have volunteered to serve as a communication link between HT-28 and its families. I am ready to support, direct, and empower you with all of the resources available to Navy families. I am also available to assist during emergencies and other times of need. I can provide resource referrals when needed and can help in resolving family issues before they require extensive command attention (All Ombudsmen follow confidentiality guidelines as required by the Navy Family Ombudsman Program).

• PCS/Relocation
• Food resources
• Counseling
• Spouse Employment
• Volunteer opportunities
• Education
